About us

We are a family of four who are Junichiro Watanabe, Stephanie Watanabe, our son Chise and dog Nupuri. Junichiro Watanabe is originally from Sapporo city and worked as a Journalist for Hokkaido Newspaper for 12 years before he decided to quit his job and try something entirely new in Niseko. Currently Jun (Junichiro) acts as guesthouse manager, cafe assistant and professional sports photographer.
Stephanie Watanabe originally comes from Edmonton City, Canada and has lived in Japan for over 10 years. Her passion for green tea lead her to take the Japanese Green tea sommelier advisor course and become certified. She currently is our businesses cafe manager and guesthouse assistant.
Chise was born in 2012 and and Nupuri in 2011 and are the cutest additions to our family.

店主渡辺ステファニーはカナダの出身です。2000年に初めて日本を訪れて以来、日本文化や日本茶の奥深さ、ニセコの自然の豊かさに魅せられてきました。家族とともに2016年1月、グリーン茶草をスタートさせました。
全国から厳選した茶葉を使用した煎茶やスイーツ、ゲストハウスでの心落ち着くひと時。グリーン茶草でぜひ、素敵な思い出を。

We offer a unique Japanese cultural experience by serving a variety of high quality Japanese green teas and Japanese sweets. Also we sell Japanese craft wares in our gallery space that have a modern Japanese design. Come enjoy Japanese culture in a relaxed and cozy setting.

Moon Cabin

Our cozy one room plus loft cottage is set in a quiet neighborhood close to Annupuri and Higashiyama ski hill. The beautiful surrounding area affords for small hikes and picturesque cycling. Also natural hot spring called kogane onsen is only a 10 minute walk away(open may to end of October).

Moon Cabinは、静かな別荘地の一角に立っています。アンヌプリ、ニセコビレッジ両スキー場に近く、冬以外の季節もハイキングやサイクリングを楽しめます。いくつかの温泉に恵まれているのも魅力です。
